Learn about the main elements of a screenplay Screenplay elements :- • Scene heading - Int. / Ext., Location & time all come in scene heading. Ex - INT. / INT. - LOCATION - DAY / NIGHT • Action - It describes what's happening on the screen. Ex - The protagonist brings out his colt & gets ready to shoot the first person he sees. • Character - Name of the Character. You can put OS in bracket if the character is off screen. • Parenthetical - It is optional to use parenthetical, it describes the action by the character during a dialogue. • Dialogue - Try to keep your dialogues short, & also make sure that it matches with the scene. 2.
